Here is the Spurs update for Nov 1st. Box Plus minus vs True Shootings. Please note the current league average for true shooting is 54.5%…The current spurs average is 52.9%. This chart only include players with >70 total minutes played.
Monday Morning Offensive Update. I’m trying something different. To increase the influence of circle size I am normalizing the net rating from 0-100 across the actual range of -14.6 –> 16.7. The Twolves are at the top of the 3pt rate with the Bulls and Hawks at the other end.
Data from NBA.com. The Bulls are shooting nearly 40% in both categories which is a pretty amazing start. Six teams are shooting over 40% off the dribble which also rather amazing. Also, don’t miss the 76ers way up there.
Really crowded until Jokic comes down to earth and I can adjust my scales. Data from Stathead.com and graph made in GraphPad.
It’s takes a village! The Bulls are shooting over 40% but have the league’s lowest rate (pssst, should we tell them?”). It’s gonna be a tough year for Detroit. The Knicks have joined the Jazz in the “let em fly!” club. The Grizz and the Hornets have amazing offensive ratings to start the season.
Data obtained via Stathead.com/basketball. Orange line is linear regression line or winning percentage and blue line is rolling 2 season average of number of triple doubles.
Memphis and Detroit are the tale of two cities. Denver and SA are not getting to the line–but the Bucks are.
Top 45 players in Box PM with >85 minutes played and >23 FGA per 100 Welp, this Y axis will hopefully become less crowded when Joker returns from is TS% orbit
